The first day of October

October is finally here!

I'd like to say I'm celebrating the first day of October by doing something awesome and Halloweeny, but instead I'm just going to an early showing of The Martian.

I read the book a few months ago on a friend's recommendation, and I think it's the best book I've read all year. All the early reviews have said it's a pretty faithful adaptation, so even with Matt Damon's recent foot-in-mouth comments, I'm really excited to go and see it!

The only Halloween I have today is my t-shirt. I'm trying to wear a Halloween or horror-themed shirt every day this month. Follow me on Instagram (@fallengoddess) if you're interested. Other Halloween-related business will have to wait!
